Join Us at City Learn on June 25, 2026 to learn about the Shoreline’s new Draft Tree Code!

Based on community input and feedback from the Tree Code Update Community Advisory Group, we have drafted an update to the Tree Code. We want to know what you think!

Big changes to the rules are proposed, and input from the community on the draft code is being collected to gauge how well it responds to the community’s priorities about how the City regulates trees on private property.

We will be hosting an open house and presentation on June 25, 2026 at Shoreline City Hall to inform about the concepts of the new draft code. This will be an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and provide feedback on the concepts proposed.

Doors will open at 6:00pm, where attendees can view informational boards about the code at their own pace, with a presentation to start at 7:00pm.

The presentation will be recorded and linked online for those unable to attend.
