Interested in biking in Ridgecrest and Briarcrest? The City of Shoreline is exploring options for a safer and more comfortable bike network in the southeastern area of the city and would like to hear from you!
The Eastside Off-Corridor Bike Network is intended to provide safe, comfortable, and convenient bicycle routes parallel to NE 145th Street between 5th Avenue NE and State Route 522 (Bothell Way NE). It will connect to key destinations such as the Shoreline South light rail station, the 148th Street Non-Motorized Bridge (currently under construction), local parks, schools, businesses, and existing bike facilities in adjacent cities. Adding a bike route parallel to NE 145th Street rather than on this busy state highway will allow people make safer and less stressful trips.
To inform what these routes should look like, we are asking people who live, work, or travel through Briarcrest and Ridgecrest neighborhoods to give us important feedback on your preferences.
