New Sidewalk Project: Dayton Avenue N Alternatives

We are studying three options for sidewalk and bicycle improvements on Dayton Avenue between N 178th Court and Richmond Beach Road. Each option was designed with the primary goal of providing safe spaces to walk, roll, and ride while staying aware of and attempting to minimize impacts to trees, utilities, and private properties. 

Safety is our top priority. We have already eliminated three options that we judged to be less safe than the remaining three. The eliminated options also would have impacted more trees than the final three options. 

We are seeking your input as we consider the tradeoffs for each remaining option before we make a final decision. Please give us your thoughts to help us choose the design that best meets the community’s priorities.
