This page is an extension of the Shoreline Walk Ride Roll Survey which aimed to learn from you how the City can support you ability to get where you need to go without reliance on cars alone.

Initial results from the Shoreline Walk Ride Roll Survey showed strong support for placing Shared Use Mobility Hubs at the two Link light rail stations coming to Shoreline. These locations will be prioritized as the City works with transit agencies.

Additionally, these three locations were chosen for further study based on initial survey response and prioritization criteria.

  1. Aurora Ave and N 185th Street (Central Mobility Hub)
  2. City Hall (Central Mobility Hub)
  3. 15th Ave NE (Neighborhood Mobility Hub)

To refresh, Shared Use Mobility Hubs are places that bring together many options for transportation that are shared among users to help people to get where they want to go without a private vehicle. A Shared Use Mobility Hub could include:

  • Being close to existing and planned bus stops and train stations providing local and regional travel options
  • Bike racks and long-term bike storage options for your own bike.
  • Scooter/BikeShare where you can easily rent a scooter or bike using an app on your phone.
  • Designated space where your Uber/Lyft or on-demand micro transit easily can pick you up.
  • Spaces to pickup a carshare vehicle.
  • Electric vehicle charging stations to power your ride.
  • Displays with real-time information on bus or train routes and schedules, so you know exactly how long until your bus or train arrives.
  • Maybe even a place to grab a coffee or snack and relax before or after your journey.
