Sunset School Park: Green Space Options
The City of Shoreline's Surface Water Utility is working with community to make Sunset School Park a little greener - and we need your help!
This survey shares five design options for green features that will help soak up rainwater at the park, protecting nearby streams and Puget Sound. These green features also offer other environmental benefits, like creating shade, absorbing greenhouse gases, and supporting pollinators.
Your feedback will help us pick 1-3 options to turn into detailed plans. We’ll use those plans to apply for funding to bring these improvements to life!
What stays the same? We’ll only be removing some lawn and asphalt—most of the open space will stay for sports, walking, biking, and play.
