Shoreline Pool Facility Exploration Design Open House: November 2025

The City hosted an in-person Design Open House on Thursday, November 13. At the event, participants viewed nine boards with details about the draft preliminary facility design (concept plan). This survey is a way for people to participate online.

Note: Using a computer or tablet to complete this survey will be easier than a phone.

To provide your input:

  1. Review the Open House Boards PDF document. Note: Images of the boards are included in the body of the survey, but the PDF will be easier to view.
  2. Provide input using the survey below

This project FAQ is available as part of the Open House materials.

If you have any questions about how to provide input, please email hmdelacruz@shorelinewa.gov.

The survey is open through Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Concept Floor Plan

The left side of this page is the overall floor plan and related numbered key. The right side has separate numbered keys for the lap pool, leisure pool and lazy river, and hydrotherapy pool and cold plunge.

Lap pool: There is a ramp, walkout steps, and ladders. Consultants would like to know if you prefer walkout steps in the deep end (shown in larger diagram) or in the shallow end (#5 in smaller diagram).

Changeroom feedback

Use the Open House PDF document for a higher quality version of this image.

The Design consultants provided three options for changeroom type. We are seeking the Community’s input about these options.

  • Option 1: Universal Change Cubicle: Prioritizes individual spaces for what you need. It has separate change cubicles, separate restrooms, and separate showers. You choose what you need and only use the spaces you need.
  • Option 2: Universal Changeroom: takes all those functions and puts them in the same space. You don't need to move from space to space if you need more than one function. This option provides less spaces overall compared Option 1.
  • Option 3: Men's + Women's + Universal Change Cubicle: provides a similar choice to Option 1. Additionally, it includes a second space of traditional gendered change rooms with an open floor plan plus a few restrooms, change spaces and showers.
3.

Rank the changeroom options in order of your preference starting with your top choice (1), second choice (2), and third choice (3). If there is an option that you would not choose, do not include it in your ranking.
